After much deliberation, the cover artwork for Kitt Townsend's forthcoming teen-thriller is finally revealed. Of the bold quad-tone artwork, Kitt said: "I couldn't be more pleased with it. The cover for a first book in a new series has a lot of work to do. Not only does it have to signal to the readers the genre and tone, but it must also attract the correct readership age. You don't want it to be too childish, nor too adult. On top of those important considerations, it must also establish a house style with elements that can be replicated across future books, so readers can spot a new book on a shelf or website and know it's one they're looking for. Finally, it just has to been a darned attractive thing to look at! After careful consideration and mulling over work from a few different designers, I'm pleased to say I absolutely love it."
